When I started this site back in April of 2014 I did it with the thought in mind that I would not accept donations.  I did not want to be seen as doing this for money but rather as a labor of love.

As of October 2017(three and half years later) my site has now reached more than 5 million views.  I spend about 30 to 40 hours a week on average serving this ministry and it is my joy to do so.  I would say more than half that time(about 20 to 25 hours) is usually me just answering emails and comments I get from people and unfortunately I don’t get to answer them all and some I miss by mistake in my pile of stuff.

Some emails that are hateful or not really related to this site or just looking to senselessly argue I ignore in favor of those of emails where people really want help.

The other half of my time is writing articles and I do truly want to get back to trying to do some more YouTube and audio files.

I do actually work a day job that takes 40 hours a week or more of my time so that sometimes impacts my ability to write on this site.  In addition, I care for my wife who is disabled as I work from home full time.

So to say I have a full plate is understatement – but I like it that way.

With all that being said, as of October of 2017, I have decided to start accepting donations. This does not change the fact this ministry is still a labor of love for me in the same way any other Christian minister, teacher or author should perform his ministry as labor of love for God and his people.

But contrary to what some people wrongly think about Christian ministries of various sorts, God does not condemn people being financially supported in their various ministries.  In fact God states that those who minister to other in matters of spiritual things as I have done these past few years have a right to ask for and receive “carnal things”(i.e. payment and financial assistance).

I have had many Christians friends over the years encourage me to do this even quoting this passage to me from the Scriptures about those who serve God by teaching and ministering to others:

“¹¹ If we have sown unto you spiritual things, is it a great thing if we shall reap your carnal things?

¹² If others be partakers of this power over you, are not we rather? Nevertheless we have not used this power; but suffer all things, lest we should hinder the gospel of Christ. ¹³ Do ye not know that they which minister about holy things live of the things of the temple? and they which wait at the altar are partakers with the altar?

¹⁴ Even so hath the Lord ordained that they which preach the gospel should live of the gospel.“

1 Corinthians 9:11-14 (KJV)

I will be taking a portion of the donations here to help fund more advertising for this site on Facebook and the rest I will use to support my family.

Up to this point I have been self funding advertising on Facebook for various articles I write but it would be great to have more funds to do more and get the message of God’s Word regarding Biblical gender roles out to more people.
